What is Piguide?
Piguide is a dynamic Personalized Internet Guide that keeps your favorite websites one-click-away.

Why uses Piguide? Why sets Piguide as internet browser's home page?
You will have most of, if not all of your favorite websites one-click-away. And your favorite search engines are right on the top of the page when needed. You can add your current home page in your Piguide and you will have it along with much more websites at your fingertips. What have you got to lose?

Why is Piguide better than internet browser's Bookmarks/Favorites?
If you have a long list of links in your current Bookmarks/Favorites, you will see a big difference: 1) it is much faster to find any links since they are well-organized by tag and your preference; 2) you do not need to organize your links and spend time to delete any old links. When was the last time you cleaned up your Bookmarks/Favorites and removed those out-of-date links?

How is Piguide different from other social bookmarking services?
We are more of a home page service than a bookmarking service. Our focus is to have your favorite websites that you keep going back to one-click-away and well-organized in your Piguide page, other than just bookmarking the hottest webpages at the moment.

How does it work?
All you need to do is: login, find the websites you like in Piguide, and click to visit them. All your favorite tags, and your favorite websites within each tag will gradually move to the top.

How to find a website?
Click a tag in your piguide and it will take you to a page with all websites under the tag listed. If the tag of interest is not visible in your piguide, you can always use the search-piguide tool in the middle of the page. The links right next to the search-website button are also good places to look for a popular website. And if the website is not in the piguide database, you are more than welcome to add it in.

How to add a website?
Use the search-piguide tool in the middle of the page: type in the url and click search-website. If it is not in the database, it will allow you to edit url, title, tag, description, and click add-and-visit-the-website to go to the website. The website will then be added into the database at the same time.

How to add a tag to an existing website?
Login; Find the website by using the search-piguide tool or simply clicking through its existing tag if the tag is visible in your piguide; Click its description and it will take you to a page with all the existing tags of the website listed; Then you can add a tag as you see fit.

How to add a new tag with its top 5 websites into my piguide?
Login; Click the 'Profile' link in the first line of the page; Click the link of 'select/reset favorite tags' at the right panel; Then follow the instructions to add the tag of interest into Selected-Tags panel, adjust its position to the desired spot, and click the 'Submit' button to save the changes. Top 5 websites under the tag will also be added into your piguide automatically.
